Setting up Fine Art editions and production printing |
The cost of giclée printing is divided into two parts. The first crucial investment is the cost of setting up the print editions which includes reprographics (if required), proofing and choosing your preferred substrate. This is the make or break in the quality of any print editions and at Art4site we are Fine Art reprographic specialists, so please read our recommendations which will assure you of the quality of our work. Please note we also offer a canvas printing and stretching / varnishing service, prices available upon request.

Setting up costs including reprographics
The following one-off set up fees includes high resolution scanning, up to a maximum of three small proofs for colour matching (normally only one or two are required) and one final size artist's proof. The final scan is securely archived with the title and exact size details.

If you provide your own digital file ready for printing, there is no setting up cost apart from the required proofs that are charged at giclée printing costs below. N.B. For quality assurance we highly recommend that you allow us to provide the reprographics of your work where possible and set up your edition as above.
Then next consideration is the cost of the giclée prints. Please note that this is an 'on demand' service and once the edition is set up, there are no more setting up fees, you simply pay for however many prints you need whenever you need them.

From your choice of Digital Fine Art substrates, the following prices indicate costs per each print (with quantity discounts shown) for standard 'A' sizes (sheet-fed material is used up to A2):-

For new customers, we would encourage you to come and see us and bring your artwork along where we can provide you with a FREE A4 sample scan and proof. This will give you an understanding of the process and our service.

For your first order we ask for payment on completion of the work by cheque, cash or by credit or debit card (via PayPal).

Thereafter you can apply for a credit account and pay 30 days from date of invoice.

All prices are subject to VAT @ 17.5% and you will be issues with a full VAT invoice.

For smaller orders, delivery within the U.K. is by next day courier at £7.50 +VAT. For larger orders including canvasses, £10 +VAT. This price is an indication only so please enquire for a fixed cost based on the delivery address.
